Ann is from County Limerick and came to train as a nurse in the 60s. She entered the civil service in the 80s working in Personnel (Career Management) and Training Development and Marketing. She gained a degree in History from the Open University in the 90s. She was a councillor in the London Borough of Bexley for 11 years specialising in Social Care and Health. Ann was elected Mayor of Bexley in 2002 – first and only Irish person to hold this office. Together with her husband, Richard, she was one of the founder members of the London Irish Councillors’ Network.
She joined the Board of Trustees in 2006 and held the post of Secretary to the Board until September 2015.
Patrick is from County Tipperary although he has lived in the UK longer than anywhere else having come here in 1984 after university to work in Planning consultancy.
A chance encounter led to a complete career change in 1986 and for the next 25 years he worked in local government in London and the South East, principally in Children and Family Services.
He has been involved with the Charity sector for many years both as a volunteer and a Trustee. He has been a vice-Chair of the Terence Higgins Trust.
Now working in the City, in his spare time he is training to be a saddler.

Dr. Bill Cotter
Bill is from County Limerick and qualified in Medicine from Trinity College, Dublin in 1989. He started training as a GP in Bromley and Greenwich in 1991 and has worked in Bexley since 1995 becoming Senior Partner in Bellegrove Surgery in 1997. He worked as a Lead GP in Commissioning for Bexley PCT from 2007 to 2012 helping establish the Urgent Care Centre at Queen Mary’s Hospital and the Community Diabetes Service.
He served as a GP Board Member of the Bexley Clinical Commissioning Group from 2012 to 2013. He is also a GP Trainer with the London Deanery and has served as a member of the Bexley Local Medical Committee since 2000. He previously served as a Trustee from 2003 to 2007, rejoining in 2015.
Paul Ewings is from Belfast and came to England to work in 1973. He is a graduate of Queen’s University, Belfast and a solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales receiving his first practising certificate in 1980.
He is a Senior Partner of a general High Street solicitors practicing in South London which bares his name. He advises the Board of Trustees on Legal matters and led the team of trustees and special advisors that modernised the Charity’s constitution. His wife is a co-Partner in their solicitors practice specialising in Wills, Probate and Elderly Affairs and actively supports the Charity as well in whatever way she can.

Originally from Mullingar & a long time member of the Mullingar Harriers Athletic Club, Mark moved to London in 2014 with his wife having completed a Masters Degree at Michael Smurfit Business School.
Mark is an avid football and music fan and enjoys DJing when the opportunity arises'
