Become an ICS Volunteer!

We work hard to reduce isolation in the community by providing a welcoming space where members can come together, enjoy Irish cultural activities, and build lasting friendships and connections that support one another.

As a charity supporting over 1,600 people, this would not be possible without the dedication of our volunteers, who are central to everything we do.

We are always keen to recruit and develop new volunteers, whether for a regular commitment or a one off project, and we provide full training and ongoing support to ensure you can work safely alongside our staff and members.

Volunteering with us is a chance to learn new skills, meet new people, and make a real difference in the lives of others, while knowing your time and experience are being put to meaningful use.

Check out our volunteer opportunities below and get in touch

with our office to see how you can start making a

difference to those in your community!

 Why Volunteer with us?

Volunteering with us is a meaningful way to make a real difference in your community while gaining something in return.

By joining our team, you’ll help reduce isolation, support the delivery of Irish cultural activities, and strengthen the friendships and connections that many people rely on.

Whether you can give a little time or a regular commitment, your contribution will directly support our work and help ensure our services continue to thrive.

In return, you’ll have the opportunity to meet new people, develop new skills, connect to a new network and become part of a welcoming and supportive environment where your time, experience, and energy are genuinely valued.

But don't just take our word for it, check out what some of our long standing volunteers had to say about their time at ICS....
